From small beginnings to great success

Young writer, artist or musician reciting a poem or singing

Calling young authors! Calling young artists!

Calling young composers!

Let's release that creative talent and let it Shine!

The search is on for youngsters aged 7 – 17 who can:

Write a compelling poem

called ‘Taking the Plunge’ or ‘Beating the Bullies’

- or write a poem on any topic that livens your mind or brightens your day!

Join a team of young composers

and set the liveliest poems to music!

Design a piece of artwork for one of the songs

or to go on my anti-bullying page.

Submit (via parent or teacher) a longer work in prose

for free advice and evaluation.

This is a chance to get that spark of talent recognised!

Parents and teachers can email work to [email protected]

or use the form below to ask for a postal address.

Please give the youngster's name and age and county or country of residence.

(If outside the UK please also see https://www.norfolkmusicschool.co.uk/the-worldwide-song-project .)

Please say whether you're the youngster's parent or teacher.

Jeff Stahler's cartoon is a great celebration of inborn talent and independence!
